Inspired by the red barns found on farms, this coop provides plenty of living space while still being compact enough to fit within most urban farms. It features a protected chicken run that gives your flock access to grass. You can leave the front access door open so your feathered friends can come and go, or close the door to keep them safe from predators. The ventilated roosting area includes roosting bars and a removable floor for easy cleaning. A side-access door secures with two bolt locks and gives you full access to the roosting area. A nest box features three nesting slots with a lid that lifts up for easy egg removal. The box can even be removed for cleaning. This coop is spacious enough to keep four to six hens healthy and flap happy. It’s heavy enough to keep predators from lifting the coop, but it’s still easy enough for two people to reposition as needed.
