This inner cover helps with air circulation, and it provides an extra layer of insulation and protection when placed under an outer cover. It can also help keep your outer cover from becoming propolized and stuck to the hive body. Made from half-inch-thick plywood with tongue-and-groove framing, this inner cover fits on all Little Giant 10-Frame Hives. It can also be used with the Little Giant Bee Escape (sold separately) to easily remove bees from supers during the honey harvest.
